The town Burg in Spreewald Forest is Germany’s biggest dispersed settlement and it is located in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Spreewald. The region is characterised by its many streams and the traditional way of life of the local Sorbs/Wends.
The tourist information centre is located in the centre of Burg (Spreewald). Visitors will find comprehensive information material here, regarding activities in and around Burg (Spreewald), as well as the corresponding maps. Fishing permits and tickets for events are also available. Punting tours and guided canoe tours for groups of ten and more people are arranged free of charge. The tourist information centre also provides support for finding boat rental services and for planning water touring adventures.
Guests looking for overnight accommodation will receive competent advice about all types of establishments across Brandenburg. The service range also includes the preparation of individual arrangements. The tourist information centre is happy to organise suitable programmes for travel groups. Regional products and souvenirs are also available.
