The restaurant whose name was inspired by the Byttna oak trees, is located very close to the impressive Schinkel church. The imposing trees are a characteristic landmark of Straupitz. Hearty German fare with strong regional influences is served at the restaurant, with regional specialities from Spreewald Forest listed at the top of the menu. The dessert menu features typical sweet treats from the region.
Guests enter the cosy dining area in the historic building by stepping through the classicist-style portal. In summer, food is also served in the beer garden behind the house.
