A visit to the 600 square metre restaurant with its amazing panoramic views of the biggest and oldest harbour of Spreewald Forest is a wonderful experience. While the kitchen staff is busy preparing sophisticated regional specialities and international dishes, guests can watch the hustle and bustle of the punting boats.
The menu includes dishes such as chicken breast coated with sesame seeds, hearty game goulash, or fried horseradish bratwurst sausages from the local butchery. The menu is rounded off with vegan options and tasty desserts, such as the typical Spreewald yeast pancakes ‘Hefeplinse’.
The restaurant seats more than 100 people, and another 90 can be served in the outdoor area by the landing stage. The pirate boat next to the restaurant with its five bowling lanes is also a popular venue, in particular for group and family events.
