The inn right near the Spree harbour in Burg serves regional and traditional fare. There are also seasonal specialities, such as fried fillet of zander with Spreewald-style sauce. Dessert options include the ‘Hefeplinse’ yeast pancakes that are typical of Spreewald Forest, topped with butter, sugar and a scoop of ice cream.
The inside areas of the restaurant are cosy and homely, and guests sitting on the big outdoor terrace can lean back and watch the hustle and bustle of the punting boats navigating around the Spree harbour.
