The wide sandy beach in this bathing area at the campsite makes for a real holiday atmosphere! With a designated non-swimmer area as well as the Kinderland children’s area with bouncy castle and playground equipment, this bathing area is especially suitable for families. A boat rental service ensures paddling pleasure in all kinds of vessels, and motor boats are also available – both licence-free and requiring a licence. Near the bathing area there is a restaurant. Parking is also available.
If you are planning a lengthier stay, you will find a place to pitch your tent on the campsite and there are spaces for camper vans, too. Cottages are also available for rent. The name of the campsite refers to the famous Australia explorer Ludwig Leichhart – and so it is no wonder that there are kangaroos waiting for visitors of all ages in an enclosure.
The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality.
