The lake Großer Mochowsee is located in the Niederlausitz, where Lieberoser Heide meets Spreewald Forest. The village Mochow is located west of the lake, and Lamsfeld is situated on its eastern shore. The forest lake’s particular charm stems from its winding shoreline with many coves and fishing spots. Access to the lake is possible from the eastern shore. Various access roads lead to the lake from the B320. Fishing from non-motorised boats is permitted. Boats are available for rent at the campsite in Lamsfeld.
