The information centre Schlossberghof Burg is one of three information centres for the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve. In an interactive exhibition, visitors will get an insight into the rich nature and culture of this outstanding landscape. The exhibition concept is addressed at children in particular. Young visitors are guided through the exhibition by Bully the bullfrog, who is based on a character from a local myth. How did the Spreewald evolve? Which animals and plants live here? What happens in periods of high and low water? Children can use all their senses to test, experience, explore, create and understand.
The municipality Burg with its around 600 farms is among Germany’s most unusual settlements. A part of the exhibition is dedicated to the peculiarities of Burg.
Please note: Please use the public car parks at Weidenburg.
