Boat Rental at Spreehafen Burg (Spreewald)

Those wishing to paddle in Spreewald Forest are spoilt for choice, when it comes to active ways to discover the unique landscape. At Spreehafen Burg, visitors can choose between kayaks and canoes. Paddles, water touring maps, life jackets and individual advice are also provided. The traditional harbour Spreehafen Burg was established in the heart of Burg in Spreewald Forest in 1913. Various recreational activities are available, such as boat rental, educational punting tours, boat tours, guided bicycle tours and hiking routes.
Spreehafen Burg is the starting point of the Colonists’ Tour (4.5 to 5 hours), two to three hours long lock tours through the dispersed settlement Burg (Spreewald) and taster punting tours. Moonlight tours take place on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition to custom arrangements, Spreehafen Burg is the starting point of exclusive fireplace punting tours, the sensual pampering tour ‘Kahn der Sinne’, breakfast punting tours heading towards the sunrise, and mulled wine punting tours through snowy Spreewald Forest.
