Piccolo Theatre

The Piccolo Theater Cottbus is a hands-on theater, doing theater, trying out puppet and figure play, learning dance under pedagogical supervision and learning about theater play in 90-minute actions. The theater has an average of twelve pieces for all ages in the repertoire and with six new productions per season there is always something new for everyone to watch, participate in and try out. The concern of the theater is to create a theater of the senses that deals with the elementary things of life. Here feelings, dreams and desires, but also problems, contradictions and questions are brought to the stage, which particularly affect children, young people and their families. With the means of art, theater experiences are created from which the audience can take ideas and suggestions for their own lives.
