Lieberose is situated centrally between the heathlands Lieberoser Heide, Schlaubetal Valley, Lake Schwielochsee and Spreewald Forest. The town is also home to one of Brandenburg’s biggest baroque castles. The historic drying building ‘Darre’ is part of the castle complex. A museum and the tourist information centre are located in the converted building.
