Sailing Tour on Lake Schwielochsee

The largest lake in Brandenburg is 13 kilometres long and quite shallow, making it ideal for sailing. This lake features natural shore areas, wide reed belts and natural bathing areas.

• no bridges or locks on Lake Schwielochsee
• 2-8 metres water depth, which means good sailing even in low wind
• with charter licence

Start/finish: Goyatz (or Beeskow near boat rental company); circular tour, therefore also possible from Zaue, Niewisch, Jessern

On-shore outings:

• Goyatz: Harbour terrace, steam engine museum, old Spreewald railway station with exhibition in railway wagon
• Zaue: Fortified church
• Niewisch: Church
• Beeskow: Historic town centre with castle, town wall, fortified towers, St. Marienkirche church, Schäfereierlebniswelt sheep farming activity world, river bath, minigolf course
