The nature park information centre is located just a stone’s throw away from the moated castle Fürstlich Drehna and its landscape park. The refurbished gardener’s house the market square, near the former inn and the church is home to the exhibition ‘Ausblicke in den Naturpark Niederlausitzer Landrücken’ (‘views of Lower Lusatian Ridge Nature Park’) and visitors can also find out about interesting destinations for days out in the region. Recommended activities include bicycle tours through the little villages with their old stone churches or hiking in the Calauer Schweiz area. The castle grounds and gardens are perfect for relaxed strolls, and the same is true for the historic town centre of Luckau. Cranes and geese can be observed at the Sielmann nature centre in Wanninchen in autumn, and the nature park rangers take visitors to the most beautiful spots of the natural landscape.
Plenty of free information material, as well as hiking maps and books, are available at the nature park information centre. The nature park management and the nature conservation station are happy to provide information about any matters related to nature.
