A total of nine kilometres in length, this nature trail is one of the longest of a total of six circular paths that are linked to the Ludwig Leichhardt Trail in loops. All of them together form the Ludwig Leichhardt Nature Trail, covering a total length of some 32 kilometres. This makes it one of the longest nature trails in Germany. Each path is dedicated to a selected aspect of the impressive and varied natural landscapes between Goyatz and Butzen.
