Tour description:
From the city centre of Cottbus the tour takes you along the Branitzer Park with its pyramids and Mondberge (moon mountains) in the direction of Forst (Lausitz). There you can visit the East German rose garden. Once you have crossed the border, the route runs through the Polish part of the Niederlausitz region to Brody (Pförten) with Brühl castle and very pretty parks. The next stop should probably be in Lubsko (Sommerfeld) with its beautiful town centre and medieval castle.
On the way to Zielona Góra you can stop off at the market square in Jasien (Gassen) or visit the church in Nowogród Bobrzański. The tour ends at the Palm House on the vineyard in Zielona Góra (Grünberg).
