Boat Rental at Hafen Waldschlösschen

Exploring the maze of waterways of Spreewald Forest on a punting or canoe tour is a must for all visitors to the region. Punting tours through the villages of Spreewald Forest and past the typical local houses, start daily at fixed times from the harbour in Burg-Kauper. There are also tours of the high forest with its characteristic mixed woodlands that last several hours. Evening tours and individual arrangements such as a ‘romantic punting tour for two’ are also available. The tours take place from April to October or May to September. Special winter tours are arranged to enable visitors to experience the magical Spreewald Forest in winter. Furthermore, visitors can rent a canoe and discover the Spreewald on their own or join a guided tour. Kayaks for one to three people, and canoes for two to five people are available for rent at the harbour. Tour maps and tips, watertight luggage barrels and life jackets for children are also provided. We recommend booking the boats in advance.
